Chris Highland has a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy from Seattle Pacific University and an M.Div. from San Francisco Theological Seminary. He served as a Parish Associate and Interfaith Chaplain for many years in the SF Bay Area. Formerly a Presbyterian Minister, he is now a Humanist Celebrant. Chris writes a weekly "Highland Views" column for the Religion pages of the Asheville Citizen-Times (in the USA Today network) and he's the author of many books. He and his wife, the Rev.
